6months ago...

Wow, 6 months ago things were different.
June 28, 2006 altered my life plans entirely.
At the time I thought I was in hell, I didn’t know how I would get through, I didn’t know what I was going to do.
6 months later I can say that this is been the greatest, and best learning experience of my life.
New job, new house, new life.
I am finally me.
The holiday season means gift giving, sometimes when you don’t want to, and sometimes you feel obligated to give a gift, I hate that.
Last year at the embassy I spent my OWN money to but 11 of my staff presents, had to buy my boss a present, had to buy my GM a present, and had to buy a secret Santa a present. I also was forsed into donating to some charity, and then donated more money for my staff.
WTF
I spent like $200 for no reason. I hated that.
This year, nothing like that at all. All of our staff gifts were bought by the…COMPANY? What a concept. What a good place.
I normally work Monday thru Friday from 9am-5pmish. Christmas Day (a work holiday) is on Monday and because I am working, I get an extra day off…HOW YOU LIKE THAT!
Things are good. Been a long 6 months, thanks to anyone and everyone who helped my get though it. You’re the true friends, you are the real friends, and I love you.
Be safe, merry Christmas,
bz
