so I was eating lunch at work on Friday and someone asked me what I was doing over the weekend. I didn’t have anything planed but I knew and figured Alex and I would do something crazy/entertaining/fun.
It was quiet at work and I had a few hours left so I started checking out my hotel discount in other cities. I found a room in Chicago for the weekend and it was cheap.
Alex and I drove to Chicago Friday at about 5pm. It was a crazy road trip. It started to snow and it didn’t stop. We drove through (what I am classifying as) a blizzard and white out conditions. For the first time in my life I was scared driving.
On the way we got a hold of H and he invited us to stay at his place. He just moved to the city and lives right off Michigan Ave. Free parking and a free place it couldn’t be better.
We then went north of the city to linkin park area and bar hopped. Wow the Chicago is amazing. We met a cool group of people at every bar. They had some drinks, (I had bed bull and cokes), we had a great time.
My night auditor at work called off for SAT night, today alex and I woke up and went shopping.
I got 2 pars of rockports for $100.
Then we drove home.
